SNP CANDIDATE NATALIE DON URGES PEOPLE TO APPLY FOR A POSTAL VOTE

Natalie Don, the SNP candidate for Renfrewshire North & West is calling on voters to apply for a postal vote ahead of the coming Scottish Parliament election - so that Scotland’s future is put firmly in Scotland’s hands, not Boris Johnson’s.

The SNP has launched a drive to encourage as many people as possible to register for a postal vote for May’s election to reduce risk from the virus.

Polling by the Electoral Commission found that up to 68% of Scotland’s 4 million voters could opt for postal votes this year – nearly four times the normal number.

SNP candidate for Renfrewshire North & West, Natalie Don said:

“With the Holyrood election getting ever closer, it’s vital that as many people as possible apply for a postal vote. It is especially important this year given the unprecedented circumstances we all find ourselves in due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and it is going to be the safest way to ensure your voice is heard.”

“With so much at stake, this will be the most important Scottish Parliamentary election ever, so it's essential that as many people who can vote do so.”

“I’m urging everyone in Renfrewshire North & West who is eligible to apply for a postal vote, encourage friends and family to do so, and make it both votes SNP. That is the only way to ensure that Scotland’s future is firmly in Scotland’s hands - not Boris Johnson’s.”

Apply for a form quickly and easily through the SNP website https://www.snp.org/postal-vote/
