The Ecosystem Fund will provide a total of £1.6 million to 42 recipients, while the Pre-Start Pathways Fund will support 20 projects with £1.3 million.

Commenting, SNP MSP for Renfrewshire North and West, Natalie Don, said:

“I am delighted that this latest round of SNP Scottish Government support for entrepreneurial talent is investing a total of £54,800 towards local projects in Renfrewshire.

“These funds will unlock enormous potential in budding sectors of our economy, helping Scots to utilise their talents and easing financial pressures for those hit hardest by the ongoing cost of living crisis.

“It is the SNP’s mission to foster an entrepreneurial climate built on the three pillars of equality, opportunity and community, and this fund is an important step towards making that a reality in communities like Renfrewshire.”
